Hello. I’m Brian Ford

I’m a technical instructor who has worked in the Internet technology and cybersecurity world for over 30 years. During that time, I constantly learned about new solutions and technologies and often helped explain new tech to different audiences. That’s what I do now; I help people understand technology so they can advance and achieve their career goals.

As a technology coach, most of my clients are managers, or executives who want to earn an advanced certification like CASP+, CISM, or CISSP but don’t want to take prerequisite courses or attend classes in person or online. I work with clients to develop a plan, so they achieve their certification goals and can talk about tech and solutions.

For many people who have done the hard work, maintaining their certifications is challenging. Most technical certifications have a three-year renewal window during which the subject has to submit evidence of continuing education activities. My bi-weekly newsletter contains links to courses, webinars, and other technical continuing education activities that can be used to meet those requirements.
